On Sunday February 5th, please join us at the Post (110 E. Walker Street in St Johns) for Super Bowl 51. In addition to watching football, you can also enter our SOUPER BOWL COOKOFF!
Need not be a member to enter or attend.
If entering the soup cook off, there is a $5 entry fee.
The Post opens @ 4pm
Happy Hour is from 5 to 6pm.
Soup tasting starts @ 6pm.

Breakfasts are served from 7am until 10am.

Operation CARE is where the American Legion Post 153 stands a post at the public rest stop on US 127 between Dewitt and St. Johns. We hand out free cups of coffee and donuts to weary holiday drivers and family on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day weekends. We also have free cups of ice tea, lemonade and ice water.
We need LEGION VOLUNTEER's for our TEXAS HOLD'EM event on March 27th, 28th, and 29th.
Texas Hold'em is the Legion's BIG fund raiser for the year. The sign up sheet is in the Lounge. Please help the Legion and volunteer for one of the 6 hour shifts. The March Texas Hold'em event will be at Reno's East (1310 Abbott Road, East Lansing). If we have additional Texas Hold'em events, the details will be posted here. Help us out if you can, please.

Honoring Our Veterans
Each year there is Veterans' Day Observance Parade on November 11, at 11 am in downtown St Johns..
The parade goes from Wilson Center through downtown St. Johns to the Veterans' Memorial. A free luncheon is normally provided for Veterans and their family after the Veterans' Day ceremony, at the American Legion Hall on Walker Street. Keep an eye on this page for more details as we get closer to November.
